The island of Rab is a place with exceptional climatic conditions and a very pleasant climate all year round. Moreover, the area has a huge number of sunny hours and is one of the sunniest places on the Adriatic.

It is an important base for all water sports, a wonderful place for recreation and relaxation in nature. Lots of exceptional sights, 144 km of hiking trails and 157 km of cycling paths. These are exactly the reasons why the island of Rab has become so popular among tourists.

The island of Rab belongs to the Kvarner islands and is separated from the mainland by the Velebit Channel. An important part of the island is the Lopar peninsula, which is famous for its famous beaches – especially the sandy Paradise Beach, which is one of the most popular beaches in the entire Adriatic.

The largest municipality on the island is the town of the same name, Rab. Here you will find the original town beach, which consists of pebbles, pebbles and rocks. However, it’s worth heading a little further afield, as the island also offers other beautiful swimming spots. For example, head to the Frkanj peninsula, which is easy to reach on foot but also regularly visited by boat. There are also seven other settlements – Banjol, Palit, Barbar, Lopar, Kampor and Supetarska Draga. There is a regular bus service between the resorts.
